How is After sun Super different from your Body Oil Lotion Bars?
Fragrantly After sun Super also contains mango butter as the main ingredient but because the skin is exposed to the sun for longer periods during the summer, the skin needs a little extra. We therefore add super skin ingredients like Castor oil (Miracle oil) 100% pure Argan oil and Apricot kernel oil because these ingredients have much more goodies and offer better protection.
Avocado Oil If you want to have good skin then Avocado is essential! The vitamin E and polyphenols, which are found naturally in avocado–oil sit, protect the skin against free radicals and provide a strengthened skin barrier. The anti-inflammatory ingredients reduce skin irritation, work to repair the skin and care for small wounds.
Castor oil Contains omega-9 and also many omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. These oils play an important and essential role in keeping the skin hydrated and supple.
Argan Oil contains antioxidants, vitamin E and essential fatty acids. It helps moisturize the driest skin and helps stop aging.
Apricot kernel oil contains a lot of potassium. Potassium is a mineral and provides a good moisture balance in and around the cells, thus hydrating the skin.
Can I use After sun Super if I am bandaged?
No. The purpose of an after sun is to nourish the skin after tanning but not after burning. After sunburn, the skin needs to be cooled and in this case products containing a lot of water, such as gels are the best for this. When you burn, you want to get rid of the heat. Once you are burned, you cannot reverse the burn with a topical treatment. However, you can use products such as our After Burn use to cool your skin and and reduce or prevent further burns.
